Random rantings and crazy thoughts of a self-confessed talkaholic

I'm pretty terrible at this aren't I? Can't seem to get a regular rant goin on.

Anyway, will try my best again. But don't count on it. I'm hardly reliable. Truth is, I don't know how comfortable I am with people I don't know reading about my life and judging it. Not that I should care... but hey, I'm human and as much as I don't wanna admit it, words DO hurt me, especially when they're from the people closest to you.

Ok enough of that.

The first half of 2005 has come and gone and I have nothing much to show for it. Except for a sort of relationship that ended up a mistake.
I didn't get to go diving in Layang-Layang much to my dismay. Probably cos my Brit friend couldn't make it after all.
However, to avoid facing the day I was supposed to be at Layang-Layang with work, I ended up in an impromptu trip to Bangkok and Koh Samui,Thailand on my own instead.
A great idea, as it turns out. I found out my company's not so bad, I can get around by myself and make friends easily enough. AND... I found someone who I got along incredibly well with.
And who is now a significant part of my life at the moment. Or potentially so.

The British friend, who will henceforth be known as Red (because the English only come in two colours - white and red) had invited me over and let me stay over for seven nights at his humble bachelor pad in Samui.

We did most of the touristy things... dined by the beach, went to the big buddha statue, got pissed at the full moon party, visited the aquarium and gawked at the turtles and sharks and got stared at menacingly by the Bengal tigers, went diving and got on hell-raising motorbike rides. We had a laugh everywhere we went, and shared the same kind of humour. Well maybe not, but we got each other. I laughed more than I can remember, and well, it was only natural that we tried to see if we had a future together.

Its too early to say, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
